30 Days of Posting

One month ago, I started a blogging challenge.

I’ve never been a consistent blogger, so I set a goal to post at least once a day for one month. Now I’ve come to the end of a successful month of blogging, and it feels really good to look back on what I’ve done.

Not everything I wrote was valuable, but it all served to get thoughts out. I also found that being forced to write every day made me think more deeply throughout the day.

I read a very thoughtful post by Shawn Blanc recently. It explained how we reach our full potential by using technology to create, not mindlessly consume. I’d agree with him. When I look at my list of blog posts, I have real satisfaction with seeing my creations.

On the other hand, there’s no satisfaction from mindlessly scrolling.

So what now? Will I continue to write every day? I think I might. I really enjoyed doing this, and for the forseeable future, I’ll continue posting my thoughts (mostly) every day.

About Me

I’m a high school student who seeks understanding. There are so many things in life that I would like to understand, but it’s hard.

  • How can I live a good life?
  • How can I make people like me?
  • How can I draw close to God?
  • What should I do after high school?

I call myself “Surrendered,” but to be surrendered is more of a process than a destination. I’m not perfect by any means, and I struggle a lot. Nevertheless, I place my hope in God, and trust that he will give me the answers.
